Getting verified on Meta’s new Twitter-killer app, Threads, isn’t as hard as it might seem.

In this guide, we will explain the steps needed to get verified on Threads.

Why Get Verified on Instagram’s Threads

Being verified on Instagram’s Threads platform can offer tons of benefits to individuals and businesses. Here are some reasons why someone might want to be verified on Instagram Threads:

  1. Authenticity and Credibility: The verification badge is a symbol of authenticity. It indicates that the account belongs to a legitimate public figure, celebrity, brand, or influential person. Verification adds credibility and trustworthiness to the account, distinguishing it from impersonators or fan accounts.
  2. Brand Recognition: Verification helps establish a strong brand presence on Instagram Threads. It enables businesses, organizations, and public figures to protect their brand identity and maintain consistency across the platform. A verified badge can also increase brand visibility and make it stand out among competitors.
  3. Increased Reach and Engagement: Verified accounts have a higher chance of being discovered and featured in Instagram’s search results and Explore section. This enhanced visibility can lead to increased followers, engagement, and opportunities for collaboration with other verified accounts or influencers.
  4. Access to Special Features: Instagram occasionally rolls out exclusive features and tools that are accessible only to verified accounts. These features may include enhanced analytics, advanced moderation options, and priority access to new features, which can be advantageous for managing and growing an account.
  5. Media Opportunities: Journalists, media outlets, and brands often rely on verified accounts for accurate information and collaborations. Being verified makes it easier for these entities to identify and connect with individuals or organizations for media coverage, partnerships, or sponsorship opportunities.
  6. Security and Account Protection: Verification provides an extra layer of security for high-profile accounts. It helps prevent identity theft, impersonation, and brand misuse. Verified accounts may receive additional support from Meta’s moderation team and have better access to reporting and account recovery options.

How Has Meta (and Threads) Verification Changed?

Earlier this year, Meta changed the meaning of their verified. Following the lead of Twitter, Meta’s verified program now denotes authenticity, rather than notoriety.

How to Get Verified on Threads

Step 1: Have an Instagram account

Threads is tied to your Instagram account. As such, to get verified, you will need an Instagram account. Create an Instagram account.

Step 2: Apply for Meta Verified

If you aren’t a public figure who is already verified on Instagram, you will need to apply for Meta Verified. Fortunately, the process is easy (for now).

To start the application process, you will need to open the Instagram on your phone and go to the Meta Accounts Center. From there go to Account settings and find “Meta Verified”.

Meta Account settings screenshot

Here’s how to apply for Meta Verified.

Step 3: Enable 2FA

Because Threads verified offers added security and verifies authenticity, 2-factor Authentication is required. The process for setting 2FA up is simple and fast. You will just need an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy. Alternatively, you can set up 2FA with just your phone number, however, this method is not as secure.

Step 4: Upload the necessary documentation.

To pass the Meta Verification application, you will need to upload one of the following documents:

  • State ID
  • Country ID
  • Passport
  • Driver’s License

When prompted, scan your document directly. Scanning a screenshot will not work.

Step 5: Wait for Approval

The process for getting verified on Instagram Threads is not an immediate one. Your information will need to be verified by the team. The estimated wait time is 1 hour to 2 days.

Step 6: Enjoy Verification!

Soon, you will get an email notification that you have been approved. You are now verified!

Enjoy your premium experience on Meta’s Threads. Want more tips for growing on Threads and social media? Follow @TySmithSDG

In the world of social media, Instagram has become a powerful tool for individuals and businesses alike. To make the most of your Instagram account, it’s important to track your growth and engagement, which is where Instagram follower tracker apps come in handy. With so many options available, it can be difficult to choose the right one for your needs.

That’s why we’ve put together a list of the top Instagram follower tracker apps to help you monitor your Instagram account and take your social media game to the next level.

From user-friendly interfaces to robust analytics tools, these apps have everything you need to keep tabs on your Instagram growth and engagement.

What is an Instagram Follower Tracker App?

An Instagram follower tracker app is designed to monitor your Instagram account’s growth, engagement rate, and other metrics. Here are some of the things an Instagram follower tracker app can do:

  1. Monitor your follower count: The app can keep track of your follower count, including how many followers you gain or lose each day.
  2. Track engagement rate: The app can track how many likes, comments, and shares your posts receive and calculate your engagement rate.
  3. Analyze your followers: The app can analyze your followers’ demographics, including their age, gender, location, and interests.
  4. Identify your top-performing posts: The app can identify your most popular posts based on engagement rate, and help you create more content that resonates with your audience.
  5. Compare your account to others: The app can compare your account to other Instagram accounts in your industry or niche, helping you identify areas for improvement.

By tracking your Instagram growth and engagement, an Instagram follower tracker app can help you improve your social media presence, grow your audience, and increase engagement with your followers.

Why Use an Instagram Follower Tracker App?

An Instagram follower tracker app can be useful if you are a social media influencer, business owner, or someone who wants to track their Instagram growth. With these apps, you can monitor your follower count, engagement rate, and other metrics that can help you improve your Instagram presence.

Top 10 Apps for Tracking Instagram Followers

There are numerous follower trackers on the market. However, some are better than others. While it’s not just the service that counts for user experience, some are free, while others are not.

To save you the hassle of ending up in a rabbit hole on Google, we have cherry-picked our top 15 Instagram follower trackers that help keep track of followers and activity.

So, here are our top Instagram tracker apps and how to use such services:

Iconosquare

Iconosquare Screenshot

Iconosquare is a fantastic app for streamlining social media efforts, thanks to its all-in-one solution. The app lets you gain insights, schedule posts, and analyze Instagram Stories using just one dashboard.

Better still, it’s not just Instagram that helps you keep track. Instead, you can connect all social media accounts – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok – to view analytics from all profiles.

Pricing:

Unfortunately, this app costs $29 per month. However, it does offer a 14-day free trial, so you can test its features and decide whether or not it’s an app worth forking out for.

GhostHunter

GhostHunter App Screenshot

On Instagram, GhostHunter knows that quality, not quantity, is key. Having tons of ghost or spam accounts can damage your credibility, making monitoring your followers and deleting untrustworthy, fake accounts necessary.

To save you the hassle, GhostHunter removes inactive “ghost” and commercial accounts, so you get the most out-of-reach and engagement from only the best users.

Moreover, this tool defends your account from phishing accounts and spam, tailoring your security settings for only genuine engagement.

It’s a straightforward tool – input your chosen username, pick the preferences that suit you the most, and let GhostHunter tidy up your account. You can also activate account protection, so you don’t have to worry about being bombarded with nuances again.

Followers & Unfollowers

Followers Unfollowers App Screenshot

Followers & Unfollowers is a credible tool for managing Instagram followers. It provides insights into your profile, enabling you to remove fake accounts so that your account is authentic and healthy.

The app allows you to unfollow up to 50 accounts that don’t follow you back all at once. Better still, to prevent unfollowing your favorites, you can whitelist them.

Thanks to Followers & Unfollowers, you can easily view all mutual followers, non-followers, and accounts that recently decided they no longer want to view your feed.

Additionally, the app includes numerous chances for you to have more than one account, so you can switch between them using the multi-account login feature.

Pricing:

The Android app is currently free to download. However, upgrades are available to get the most out of the features.

Unfollowers & Followers Track

Unfollowers & Followers App Screenshot

Unfollowers & Followers Track displays intriguing information about your followers via cards. These cards include details on their new followers, recent unfollowers, ghost followers, new blocks, amount of likes, comments, popular posts, recommended followers and tags, and more.

The app also allows you to unfollow those not interested in your feed quickly, so you’re only sharing with those who care.

Pricing:

Starting at just $4.99 a month, Unfollowers & Followers Track is a fantastic option for tracking your Instagram.

Followmeter

Crowdfire App Screenshot

Followmeter includes a user-friendly dashboard that displays numerous information about your Instagram account and engagement metrics. Using this feature, you can easily unfollow accounts that are not reputable and identify top-performing posts for better performance in the future. Although, the best part about Followmetter includes its in-depth analytics on likes, comments, and story views.

Additionally, it allows you to identify those you engage with the most and those who view your stories yet don’t even follow you (maybe you will find your boyfriend’s ex snooping). You can achieve such goals by monitoring your account growth using attractive graphs and charts that are easy to understand – even for tech novices.

Pricing:

Available on iOS and depending on personal preference, this app is available at $7.99 per week, $14.99 per month, and $29.99 per year.

Crowdfire

Crowdfire is more than a follower-tracking app. It also includes a comprehensive social media management tool allowing you to manage all your social media accounts from one place.

Although it doesn’t provide overly detailed insights, it can assist you in engaging better with your followers.

The app recommends relative content based on what your followers’ interests are. Moreover, you can publish content directly from your blog or website, so your followers get all your posts.

You can also schedule posts in advance to ensure maximum engagement, even on the most chaotic days. It allows you to create a content calendar, automatically posting your content when desired.

What’s more, Crowdfire assists in tailoring posts to numerous social networks so that your posts are modified as needed and not just duplicated across platforms.

The app also suggests the best times to post depending on the platform – so you can take full advantage of peak traffic.

InStalker – Profile Tracker

Instalker Screenshot

InStalker is one of the most popular tracking apps. Thus, it is highly recommended on Google Play Store.

One of the main perks of this app includes offering state-of-the-art features for analyzing your Instagram account, including who’s secretly snooping at your profile and looking at your stories.

On the other hand, the app is also fantastic for providing information about your followers, offering a profile analysis including your posts with the most engagement.

The app does have a few issues, including lacking whitelisting features and bulk actions. However, it’s free to use. So if you don’t like it, delete the app and find something more suitable at no cost.

Pricing:

Free

Reports for Followers

Reports for Followers App

Reports for Followers is sleek and professional looking, making it a top contender compared to similar options. In addition, it offers a wide range of features, including follower analytics, identifying blockers, mass unfollowing, and revealing those all-important secret admirers (or not).

Using the app, you can monitor changes made on your accounts in real-time from anywhere and view what’s hot and what’s not to gain insight into your audience’s preferences.

Pricing:

This app is highly efficient and does not require payment. However, you can upgrade to top features for $23.99.

Followers+ Track for IG

Followers+ Track for IG App Screenshot

Similar to many other tracking apps, Followers+ Track for IG offers analytics for posts, followers, and story analytics.

Although such features are standard among apps, this app proves advantageous in unique ways by providing valuable insights without needing to post directly on the app.

This app also analyzes when followers are most active, helping you decide when to post for maximum distribution and attention.

Pricing:

Try this app for free for three days before purchasing it for just $3.99 per month on iOS.

Unfollowers & Ghost Followers

Unfollowers & Ghost Followers App

Last but not least, Unfollowers & Ghost Followers provides plenty of useful features, including the chance to identify top fans, unfollowers, and mutual friends.

Making this app stand out from the crowd, it offers media and global shout-out options to boost your Instagram profile to the highest heights, which is not found in any other follower-tracking apps.

It also has its own smart feed, which cherry-picks images, videos, and articles that may interest you based on previous searches.

Better still, it’s free to download! You can buy additional features if of interest via in-app purchase.

Conclusion: Picking the best Instagram Tracker App for You

In conclusion, using an Instagram follower tracker app can be a valuable tool to help you grow your Instagram account and increase engagement with your followers. With so many options available, it’s important to choose an app that meets your specific needs, whether that’s tracking your follower count, monitoring your engagement rate, or analyzing your audience demographics.

By using one of the top Instagram follower tracker apps we’ve highlighted in this post, you’ll be able to gain insights into your Instagram performance and make data-driven decisions to improve your social media presence. Remember to do your research and choose an app that’s reputable, user-friendly, and offers the features you need to achieve your Instagram goals.

Although there are many ways regarding how to promote NFTs on Instagram, we at Coinbound have hand-picked the best advice to boost your target market

Once launching a non-fungible token (NFT) project, there are many actions you can take for promotional purposes. The more people that know about your group of collectibles, the better.

Whether you want to partake in giveaways on Twitter, run influencer campaigns, or create merchandise production to attract more followers, all are good ideas.

Related Content: Social Media Management for Web3 companies

Nevertheless, there are easier ways to promote NFTs. Let’s look at Instagram alone, for instance.

Here are the best ways for promoting your NFT project on Instagram to the best target your market:

Instagram

Personalize Your Profile

At Coinbound, we’ve been dealing with marketing on Instagram since the get-go. Therefore, to best market on this social channel, you must continuously be active on the platform for customer engagement.

Related Content: Crypto Instagram Marketing [Everything You Need to Know]

Crypto Instagram Marketing [Everything You NEED to Know] – YouTube

However, customer engagement doesn’t mean constantly posting pictures of your collectibles. Instead, it is also helpful to like other peoples’ posts, follow potential customers and other NFT projects you like, etc. Nevertheless, it’s still equally vital that your profile looks good and that your target audience can see what you’re all about when you want to promote NFTs on Instagram. Therefore, your content must be approachable, non-offensive, down-to-earth, and personal. People want to know about yourself, what your art means, the medium you use, the reasons for creating the project, and so forth.

To get even more traction, why not discuss personal things about the reasons behind your project? Everyone loves a personal touch, after all.

Hashtag

Hashtags – Yay or Nay?

Hashtags are a funny one. Although the symbols help your posts reach the right audience by categorizing your content for users and for algorithms to determine where it’s distributed, too many can seem desperate for attention and make you look needy.

Consequently, we advise you to post a few hashtags, but only ones that matter—some viral hashtags trend in the NFT field. However, we recommend you use the less apparent hashtags to find a more niche audience, so your work doesn’t get lost in the masses.

So, think of your project’s meaning before thinking of personal hashtags that perfectly connect with your project.

Market Trend

Study Your Target Market

Last but not least, knowing your audience is vital. Although the NFT field gained a lot of recognition and publicity throughout the past years, it is still not mainstream and is now going through an even worse time due to chaos following FTX’s bankruptcy

Only buyers and sellers of cryptocurrencies and NFTs understand Web3 lingo. Therefore, you probably shouldn’t be targeting Instagram users who primarily look at women in bikinis or cute fluffy dogs.

Rather, look out for NFT lovers or people who can relate to your project. For example, if your NFT project donates proceeds to LBGT rights groups, perhaps look out for people that also support LBGT, follow gay clubs, etc.

Moreover, you will know who’s into NFTs by looking at their list of followers. The more you deepen your understanding of your target market, the more you can adapt and hashtag your posts accordingly and attract attention to the right people.

Wrap It Up – Reasons for Promoting NFTs on Instagram

Instagram is a fantastic social media platform for showing off art and reaching a large audience. You can easily set up an NFT auction or launch a sale on the visual hub compared to other social channels.

Moreover, Instagram has fantastic algorithms to connect you with the right people. And with more than a billion active users per month and 500 million active users per day, we are sure you will find your perfect target market.

If in need of assistance, Coinbound can help boost your marketing campaign on Instagram through technological solutions that allow you to increase your NFT profiles and integrate the necessary protocols.

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have exploded in popularity in recent years, with many artists, collectors, and investors buying and selling unique digital assets on blockchain platforms. As an NFT creator or collector, one of the best ways to promote your NFTs is through Instagram, which has over one billion active users and a thriving community of artists and creators.

In this blog post, we’ll go over some key tips and best practices for promoting your NFTs on Instagram, and how to use the platform to reach a wider audience and drive engagement and sales.

Tips to Promote Your NFT on Instagram

Use hashtags to reach a broader audience

Hashtags are a powerful tool on Instagram, and can help to increase the visibility of your NFTs and connect with a wider audience. When promoting your NFTs on Instagram, be sure to include relevant and popular hashtags in your posts, such as #NFT, #cryptoart, and #blockchain.

You can also use hashtags that are specific to your NFTs, such as the name of your project or the theme of your art. For example, if you’re selling NFTs of sci-fi art, you might use hashtags such as #scifiart, #scifi, or #sciencefiction.

In addition to using relevant hashtags, you can also try to tap into trending hashtags that are related to your NFTs. For example, if there is a popular event or news story related to NFTs, you can use the corresponding hashtag to join the conversation and reach a larger audience.

Share high-quality images of your NFTs

When promoting your NFTs on Instagram, it’s important to share high-quality images that showcase the unique qualities of your digital assets. This can help to grab the attention of potential buyers and collectors, and make your NFTs stand out from the competition.

In addition to sharing images of your NFTs, you can also share behind-the-scenes photos and videos that show the process of creating your art or collecting NFTs. This can help to build a personal connection with your followers, and give them a glimpse into your passion and creativity.

Share details and stories about your NFTs

When promoting your NFTs on Instagram, it’s important to provide more than just images. You should also share details and stories about your NFTs, and explain why they are unique and valuable.

For example, if you’re selling NFTs of digital art, you can share information about the inspiration behind your art, the mediums and techniques you used, or any special features or characteristics of your NFTs. If you’re selling NFTs of collectible items, you can share information about the rarity, provenance, or historical significance of your items.

In addition to sharing details and stories, you can also use Instagram to engage with your followers and answer any questions they may have about your NFTs. This can help to build trust and establish yourself as an expert in the field, and make potential buyers more comfortable with purchasing your NFTs.

Collaborate with other NFT creators and collectors

One of the best ways to promote your NFTs on Instagram is to collaborate with other NFT creators and collectors. This can help to expand your reach, and introduce your NFTs to a new audience.

To collaborate with other NFT creators and collectors on Instagram, you can try a few different strategies.

One approach is to partner with other artists or creators, and cross-promote each other’s NFTs. For example, you could share each other’s posts on your Instagram accounts, and encourage your followers to check out the other artist’s work. This can help to introduce your NFTs to a new audience, and build a sense of community and collaboration within the NFT space.

Another way to collaborate with other NFT creators and collectors is to participate in challenges or contests. Many NFT communities on Instagram host regular challenges or contests that encourage artists and creators to share their NFTs and compete for prizes or recognition. By participating in these challenges, you can showcase your NFTs, get feedback from other creators and collectors, and potentially win some rewards or exposure.

Finally, you can also collaborate with other NFT creators and collectors by joining or creating an Instagram group. Instagram groups are online communities where members can share their NFTs, discuss trends and developments in the NFT space, and offer support and advice to each other. By joining or creating an Instagram group, you can connect with other NFT enthusiasts, and expand your network of potential buyers and collectors.

Work with an agency

If all of this seems a bit exhausting or difficult for you, or if you’d rather allocate your time elsewhere, hiring an NFT marketing agency could be a good option for you. Here are the best NFT marketing agencies you should know.

Conclusion

In conclusion, promoting your NFTs on Instagram can be a powerful way to reach a wider audience, drive engagement and sales, and connect with other NFT creators and collectors. By using hashtags, sharing high-quality images and stories, and collaborating with others, you can effectively promote your NFTs on Instagram and grow your community of supporters and buyers.

Facebook’s relationship with crypto and blockchain has been a complicated one. At one point they’ve issued statements outright banning cryptocurrency companies from using Facebook and Instagram for advertising. At other points, they’ve claimed the ban did not, in fact, exist and that crypto companies need not worry. Facebook has even gone so far as to start their own cryptocurrency project, Libra.

With all this flip-flopping and lack of clear answers many blockchain entrepreneurs are wondering if its possible to advertise crypto on Facebook.

Here we take a deep dive into our own experience as well as those of other crypto marketing teams.

Can you advertise crypto on Facebook?

Like many crypto advertising questions whether you can advertise your cryptocurrency brand on Facebook is a matter of “it depends”.

Facebook’s public stance on blockchain and crypto has been a confusing one. Within the past few years, Facebook has gone from publically decrying Facebook as a dangerous means of money laundering and scamming to working on their own blockchain-based currency Libra. After months of regulatory pushback on the Libra project, Facebook seems to have returned to its previous stance of “Crypto Bad”.

As far as Facebook’s ACTUAL crypto advertising policy, the tech giant claims it does not outright ban blockchain project ads, but approval is needed in most circumstances.

According to Facebook’s support page on crypto advertising:

Under the cryptocurrency products and services ads policy, advertisers planning to run ads promoting cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency mining software and hardware, and cryptocurrency investment advice must first receive confirmation for eligibility.

The cryptocurrency products and services ads policy requires advertisers to be approved in order to help prevent misleading advertising for these products and services. Learn more about the scope of the cryptocurrency ads policy and how these ads are reviewed.

To actually apply for approval to advertise crypto on Facebook, this form can be used.

What the experts say

Based on the information made publicly available by Facebook, it’s fair to assume most blockchain projects that aren’t holding an ICO or offering anything nefarious shouldn’t have an problem.

However, Ty Daniel Smith, blockchain marketing pioneer and General Manager of Coinbound, the crypto marketing agency used by major crypto brands like eToro, ShapeShift, and more, disagrees.

According to Smith:

I think Facebook’s crypto advertising policy available on their site is mostly a PR move. We’ve worked with tons of great blockchain projects over the years and never has a Facebook ad campaign for them not been rejected. We can occasionally get a campaign approved but within days it gets removed and they’ve gone as far as permanently ban advertising accounts.

None of the projects we’ve seen rejected have been in violation of Facebook’s crypto advertising policies either.

Based on this, it appears the true nature of Facebook’s crypto ad policy is more complex than it may first appear.

Can you advertise cryptocurrency on Instagram?

Instagram, being a Facebook owned company, adopts a similar (if not same) policy towards crypto ads. That said, we have seen at least one advertising campaign from a cryptocurrency company on Instagram.

One such company to successfully get crypto ads on Instagram (for a short time at least) is CoinTracker, a crypto portfolio and tax reporting software company based in San Francisco.

That said, it appears most brands should not rely on Instagram to promote their brands.

Where can you advertise crypto?

With advertising behemoths Facebook and Instagram basically out of the picture, cryptocurrency companies are looking for other ways to boost awareness and drive user acquisition. Below are some advertising channels available to blockchain companies:

Twitter

Despite once banning crypto ads, Twitter’s advertising policy has since loosened up. For crypto marketers looking to expand their growth via a programatic social media channel, Twitter is still a viable option.

Google

Google is another PPC advertising option available for crypto companies. While ad variations are occasionally blocked, account bans are rare and it is still very much possible to turn a positive ROAS with Google Ads.

Influencer Marketing

Because influencer marketing allows brands to circumvent the need for ad approval from advertising platforms like Facebook, it has blossomed into one of the most popular advertising strategies for blockchain.

Coinbound manages the world’s largest network of crypto influencers across YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Podcasts, Blogs, and more.

SEO

Search Engine Optimization has also become a very popular focus for blockchain marketers. Because SEO allows for organic and recurring traffic without the need to be approved by a third party.

Here’s a great podcast episode on why crypto companies should focus on SEO.

Display Advertising

Similar to Google ads, it is possible to run display ads accross a number of crypto publishers and news sites and relatively good CPM rates.

Here are the top crypto display ad networks.

Have you ever wondered if you are posting the right amount on Instagram?

In this episode, Ty, TJ, and Kylie break down the Instagram posting frequency that research shows to work best.

Ty’s Show Notes:

Intro

With over a billion users in 2019, Instagram is one of the largest and fastest growing social media platforms.

Today we will discuss how often you should post on Instagram for maximum reach and engagement.

We will discuss what the data says, what that data means, and what we’ve seen ourselves.

Start with Stats

  • SocialBuddy says 1-3 times per day. Major brands post avg 1.5x per day
  • DashHudson (marketing software company) broke down posting frequency vs reach as a percentage relative to “average” based on data from 1400 brands:
1 post per day: 3.39% more reach
2 posts per day: 3.12% less reach
3 posts per day: 6.17% less reach
4 posts per day: 13.17% less reach
5 posts per day: 9.26% less reach

DashHudson also graphed # of posts per day vs total reach: Reach increases the more you post but decreases per post relative to average

Interpreting that data

  • It depends on your goals. Maximum reach or engagement per post?
  • Posting once per day is probably fine.

Conclusion

  • End with a quote from Neil Patel: “If you make a habit of posting several times a day and then transition to only a few times a week, you will start to lose followers and generate less engagement per post. This means that the best posting frequency for Instagram is the posting frequency that you can consistently maintain for the rest of your natural life.”
